Antifogging Hybrid Materials Based on Amino-Functionalized Polysilsesquioxanes

In this paper, the hybrid antifogging material poly(3-(2-aminoethylaminopropyl)silsesquioxane (PAEAPS) was prepared by a sol-gel reaction. The PAEAPS film exhibited high water uptake and scratch resistance. A glass substrate bearing a PAEAPS film remained transparent under humidified conditions, and PAEAPS film shows good antifogging ability.
